Qu'il soit seul aux commandes ou accompagné de ses fidèles copilotes, 9th cloud vogue depuis plus d'une dizaine d'années avec aisance sur les cieux des musiques électroniques.
Musicien autodidacte très peu conventionnel - mais authentique ingénieur en audiovisuel - il compile, triture, digère et s'approprie nombre d'influences venues aussi bien du jazz que du hip hop, sans s'éloigner jamais trop de l'electronica.
Après avoir éprouvé sa formule gagnante avec un premier opus plébiscité par la presse en 2004, A Monkey in a Yellow Hat , son travail s'est fait plus intime, et ses Delicate Sounds voient le jour en 2007 non sans affiner un peu plus les traits d'une discographie cohérente et aventureuse.
Touche-a-tout inlassable, il s'est aussi rendu responsable d'incursions plus pop, synthétiques et radicales au travers de projets collaboratifs tels que Bawns en 2006 puis 4ms Latency en 2007.
Associé depuis 2008 a son compère Vompleud au sein du duo Half a Rainbow, ils se sont fait remarquer bien au delà des cercles fermés de l'intelligent dance music et ont été invités à se produire sur les scènes des festivals les plus en vue de l'hexagone (Nuits Sonores, Siestes Electroniques...).
Aujourd'hui relancé en solo, il revient d'une volte habile au hip hop instrumental de ses débuts (avec le précieux Round and shiny times, sorti en 2010), condensant au passage les lubies et particularités qui rendent sa musique attachante depuis plus d'une décade.
Fin 2011, pour 43 sunsets, le marseillais 9th cloud embrasse les mentors du hip hop et met les beatmakers en orbite pour une balade bleepée survolant un demain émouvant et robotique. D'arides paysages en subtiles structures sonores, 9th cloud met la lumière en musique pour éclairer la scène électronique d'une onde personnelle.
Empruntant autant à la bass music qu'au minimalisme, ce 5 titres hors-cadre a l'élégance indéniable n'est définitivement pas hors-sujet.

SOUNDZ FROM GALACTIKA 24/04/12

DJ depuis 1998 et producteur depuis 2001. Il s'intéresse aux corrélations entre le son et l'image et réalise des expérimentations en tout genre (ciné-concert, mixes platines, composition pour un film muet, réalisation de vidéos, installations...)

L kalm est un projet issu d'un concept de soirée (ELECTRO KALM) proposant un mix de musiques downtempo (Reggae dub, Electronica, Ambient...).

En 2001 débute un travail de production électroacoustique sous ce pseudonyme, (machines guitare, voix et samples).

Les influences sont nombreuses: King Tubby, Herbie hanckok, Sonic youth, Jeff Mills, Miles davis, Kraftwerk, ,Drexcyia, Boards of canada...

Le dernier projet intitulé MICROECHO voit le jour en 2007.

MICROECHO rassemble des créations issues du street art, (fresque, pochoir, photo, vidéo) et productions Electro et Techno diffusées exclusivement sur le web.

Son activisme lui permettra de rencontrer puis d'intégrer les collectifs EUMOLPE, ANTIZERO et le groupe ELECTROLYTES signés sur Napalm Enema Records et Antizero
